Hails from our sister diocese of Bamenda in Cameroon and was ordained on 30th March 2016. Served as an assistant priest on the island of Guernsey prior to his transfer to English Martyrs in September 2022
In March 2024, he was appointed by Bishop Philip to the role of Episcopal Vicar for Evangelisation for the Portsmouth Diocese.
On Friday 13th December 2024 at Ragusa, Sicily, Italy, Fr Gaston was awarded a PhD in Education by the Selinus University of Sciences and Literature.
He achieved this PhD by research, with focus on the educational needs of children displaced by the ongoing armed conflict in the English speaking regions of Cameroon.
